Anyone with recent experience recruiting for Boston Consulting Group? Got in touch with a recruiter through referral, was directed to submit an application and already finished my pymetrics. Anyone know when I would be able to hear back and what the hiring timeline looks like? Recruiter suggested to get back in a few weeks but isn’t it too slow? McKinsey sent me an invite for 1st interview in a few days after they received my referral.
I had my first technical round of interview as Sr. Android developer with Tech Mahindra and It went well. How long does it take to know about the result. Also how many rounds are there? The interviewer refused to say his name nor he appeared on video in the interview. Is that the company policy? Tech Mahindra

I would cut the numbers by 3/4 50 to maybe 15 and 2nd stage of 3-7 at max. Keeping the others on back burner and work with your recruiter to have the next round 1st and 2nd rounds again with that same pool of the remaining candidates. If you can get 3 solid candidates they can got to the 3rd and final stage and if they don’t work out, wash, rinse and repeat. You are not going to find a Unicorn 🦄 and make everyone wants one. They are out there for sure, be open to other experiences and life learning from the candidates. Dont be biased because some might have been laid off over a year ago! Most importantly keeps the candidates updated, updated and timelines established. If you don’t do this you risk your company’s brand and reputation. Keep them warm and let them know there may be red tape delays in a larger company and timelines extended. Always inform your candidates if a decision was made. Always be honest if you filled the job do not leave them hanging, do not ghost them!
Hmm that is not my choice I’m one of the applicants
