You have to go easy with it
Going through this right now, but the person in question is going to be leaving soon so it’s a moot point. I did think about bringing it up just so it isn’t an ongoing problem when somebody else comes in. Being neutral and asking about expectations and what needs done, how to get everyone on the same page for that.
Yeah sometimes it doesn’t even seem worth it to bring it up, but I guess nothing ends up changing/getting better if nothing gets done.
Maybe you can talk to them privately and see what they say? You could always ask people in the team to do this also, but without seeming like you’re going against them?
I agree with this! It’s helpful to talk to the person too about it.
Totally get this—it’s a tricky balance. You could bring it up by focusing on how the workload is affecting the team overall. Keeps it about solutions, not blame.
Totally! And it sounds like it’s bothering you a lot so good to get that information out instead of bottling it up.
