Big4 they really don’t care for experienced hires from my experience
My interviewers literally told me they were glad I was an EXP hire since they wouldn’t be able to hire me from my UG
Of the 30-40 colleagues I regularly interact with, I can think of 0 people who I know where they went to undergrad. I can tell you everything about their family, work history, etc - but I have no idea where they went or what they studied.
It doesn't.
Very little. Helps if you’ve got a strong alumni network that’s willing to refer you places and help out but other than that it comes up incredibly rarely on the job.
I’ve always wondered this. My inclination says it would be difficult. One of the reasons they get the big hourly rates is to say “Johnny came from X school”.
MBBG? Confused
It doesn’t! I’m a grad .. and my gpa was just average. I can sell myself, work hard and deliver well.... so acn , PwC & kpmg gave me offers.
Honestly, for MBB they do care about either attending a target school or working at a target company.
Source: have screened resumes for MBB
I went to schools that no one has ever heard of, let alone pronounce, and it didn’t seem to be an issue (since I got the job).
