Is Google the end game?
About to head to the HC for a role in ProdOps and Strategy in Mountain View. 4 YoE at MBB, no competing offers. Recruiter gave me a form that asks expected comp.
Levels.fyi has only PM salaries. I haven’t been told the level but expect it to be L4.
What total comp would you expect for this role? Any advice would be super helpful, as I’m a bit lost.

Common enough. The hiring manager was probably on the fence about rejecting you outright, so they asked the recruiter to get a little more info from you to help them decide on interview vs reject.
I feel like the common enough v. on the fence of rejecting me are two different things though - like common enough that anyone can expect that to happen to them sometimes (and it’s just an added step) or likely other candidates for the same role and who are stronger were immediately given an interview
Got it ok that’s fair - I’m happy I even got a call regardless of where it takes me lol
