When i started my journey i was working as an intern in a very good IT setting mainly analytics. I was working closely with my mananger and data scientists to help troubleshoot codes written in R/Python. I was reading neural network books and was trying to use python for every excel changes i had to make. Having said all this, I feel not so motivated as my work is far away from performing advances analytics or software. How do i stay motivated like i was before? Any advice? Deloitte Accenture
Was hoping to get in Goldman Sachs as an intern of some sort. I have a blue collar background, I am a junior in college, going for finance. I would be open to any job as well. I am a very hard worker and I let my actions do the talking. Extremely self motivated. I own a small business, however, I am just growing tired of it. I have always wanted to work as an investor, so I enrolled myself in college 3 years ago. I have a wife and kids and I am no stranger to work. My work ethic is unmatched. Ty

Would anyone working at ZS Associates be willing to discuss day-to-day work and type of projects, preferably at the consultant level? Trying to make the switch to strategy consulting and want to see if my background would fit what they are looking for. I would really appreciate any time anyone has, even if it’s just for an email or two.

We had an intern refuse to get dinner during busy season, stating that it wouldn't build value in his learning experience.
Partner: "EY1, take time away from your work and write me a performance review on this intern so I can make an informed decision on giving him an offer"
EY1: *writes an honest review about the interns poor performance*
Partner: "No, not like that"
An intern deleted all of their work from 2 months from the client computer and then hid the recycle bin icon so we couldn't find it for a while

An intern passing out/vomiting during Happy Hour; she did not get an offer
Pwc1. That's a valid excuse for intern though. He would know his value!
I had an intern who used to eat 3 lunches cause you know what makes you hungry and sleeps all the time. Was doing finance and software engineering from a reputed university and didn't know basics of anything. Our senior manager "EY SM" sitting in the small conference room emailed him for catchup. Mind you he was sitting next to him. The intern then asks me "hey EY1, who's this EY SM guy? He just emailed me. That dude wanna meet me For something important ".
Also everyone refused to write his reviews to be nom bias and I was given the duty since I was the least frustrated person. I wrote a medium review and was shot back by the partner saying it was too harsh. The guy still didn't get a job.
Staff 1 keeps bragging about number of hours worked. When we clearly work more than him
