Started at a new company and ready for my 90 day review, which is overdue. LGSW certification. During this time the facility changed hands, and my title went from Director of social services to social work designee and I went from salary to hourly. All while being promised nothing would change. About to get my first paycheck since going hourly and wondering if I’m going to get surprised by my salary going down. Any thoughts on this? The title change is really bothering me.

I have observed that people on testing domain or frontend are getting better pay than other new tech domains like blockchain, cyber security, data sci etc(4-11yr exp) .
For less than 4 years experience new tech job gettig good pay but others getting very less.

In dev job Java, spring r etc getting better pay. Also some SAP consultant are also get paid high.

I work well with the clients but I find it difficult to accept the pay I receive for the amount of work I do and is required. Do you think all these violent and hate filled attacks are because people aren't getting the emotional/mental support they need, whether it's therapy at any age or help they needed but didn't get from a social worker as a child? My coworker is sure this is the case, but I honestly think there's actually something deeper wrong either with how these people are being raised as children, or how the warning signs these people give off are ignored or swept under the rug to save face.

I’m a very organized person, both personally and professionally and this has been challenging for me in a professional setting. So embarrassed. I literally had one job to do today which was to schedule a client and give and take her paperwork when she came in. Totally called her by the wrong name today AND gave her the wrong paperwork. She was really nice about it but I feel like my boss was disappointed and I'm disappointed in myself. I don't want her to think I won't be able to keep clients straight when I start doing supervised sessions.
