Never too soon if you can still get an offer

Last gig I was there 5 years. I'm not chronic about it and want to be somewhere without the urgency to get out. If I did leave, I'd likely leave it off my resume entirely. I simply don't want to be an asshole about it - try to be courteous and appreciative but have to remember in the end they don't really give a damn about me.

Just be careful and plan to stay at D awhile (2 years) . If you're consistently job-hopping then it'll show a pattern, if it's once, then don't worry about it.

If you keep that in your resume, prepare to get blackballed

I was on bench for 3 months when I first started and now my partner thinks I am over utilized (at 110% right now) - you have to be patient, get your name out there, and really create your brand ( I know it sounds like fluff but this is how people trust you to deliver the work). It is all about relationship. Just my 2 cents.

What is your area? Maybe someone has a role? You can state general area without being too specific.

What practice are you in OP? I know a few areas where we have a dry af pipeline including mine

That's Ds prob. Not yours

Essentially what I'm asking: for someone who is aligned to tech marketing, Deloitte or PwC?

Are you TICE or Digital?

TICE

Foreign LLM student here. I plan to take the NY bar exam in February. I’m thinking of taking a bar prep course (most likely Barbri). They offer two options: the “traditional” course (which lasts around 2.5 months) and an extended 6-month course. The difference in price is substantial – 2.5k for the traditional course vs 6k for the extended one. Any thoughts/recommendations on which one I should take? In case it is helpful, I come from a civil law country. Thanks!

Hi - I’ve moved to Toronto (from Asia) with 5 YOE in Corporate banking + 2 YOE IB/capital markets (7 YOE in TOTAL) working roles in Front Office and financial analysis.

Believe I’d be a great fit as an Associate in the same space at the major banks (RBC, TD, Scotia, CIBC etc) or in PE/ Asset management.

Could someone help by mentioning the salary ranges I can expect?

Also any tips on networking would be appreciated. Thank you!

So I say this with complete humility and an understanding that this is a fortunate-ish situation to be in. I’m in a position where I am tied to nothing, I have no children, spouse, or house. My job, which I’ve loved until some recent significant leadership changes, is sucking the life out of me and I think it may be time for a change. Because I am able to “pick up and go” I’m open to opportunities and locations. I’ve never worked with a recruiter but was hoping I could get some recommendations!

I’m running one of the deals, semi running the other one and not doing much leading on the other one. Note: I was supposed to not be running any of these.
