$120ish...but there's a very high payband. Could be anywhere from $80k-$180k
Well VP is super generic at a bank. You'd need to provide more info.
For the most part you should expect 15% or so pay raise, assuming your salary isn't currently sky high
Who says woman can't negotiate 😎 we do it well
Not always reliable but looked
VP, corporate risk management
I was wondering 190 is too much or not, that is my feeling too about the range
Also depends on location and bank (JPM is much more generous with support staff pay than citi)
East coast,
15% is too low as I am already expecting to be promoted next year so I will have to work that in. Salary is never sky high 😀
According to one link I saw, avg salary at VP level is 145. GS is 165. One kid on here was offered 140k for a digital VP role.
Let me know how it goes! I too wanna apply to some VP roles at these banks
I will ask quite a bit and let you know if it works out 👍🏻 if it doesn't I will continue with the miserable hours and ask the same next year 🤓
Always wanted to know what VP in banks is equivalent to in consulting ? Manager and above ?
High senior or manager. Really depends on the role. VP is a generic title and u can also be in charge of no one, just like a principal engineer somewhere else
Okay. I know some friends who joined as VP right out of grad school ( comp science )
150 medium
I'll try to go with D1s suggestion and push the 180, l'll update if it goes well
What level and salary r u at now?
