Food for thought this a Friday. Quiet quitting has been trending for the last few weeks. This is problematic in two ways. A) Doesn’t actually identify the root cause for burnout (I.e abuse at work or poor company culture B) Completely dismisses a whole demographic of people unable to do the bare minimum without facing penalty. Any other thoughts? https://www.theroot.com/why-is-quiet-quitting-a-thing-for-white-people-but-n-1849407594/amp

#selloutSusan delivers again! Another republican without a moral fiber in their entire body.
She gave a great speech with clear reasoning for her decision. There is room to disagree with her on particular points, but what I most appreciate is her commitment to explaining her logic in a compelling fashion.
I would encourage those on this thread who disagree with her not to attack her personal motives (which is intellectual cowardice in my opinion), but rather to point out where you see flaws in her reasoning.
It’s identity politics. When Lindsey Graham brushed off a protester who was accosting him, what did she say next? “How dare you talk to women that way”.
When everything is boiled down to race, gender, ethnic group, etc., it just deepens the divide and stifles actual debate.
Grow up, he drank in hs/college not remotely a big deal.
It's also convenient how every liberal has ignored RBG's comments regarding Donald Trump during the election season that were clearly partisan. Why aren't they calling for her impeachment?
He has a long record to judge by and is highly qualified. Being angry at being tarred and feathered over false accusations is not remotely unreasonable, or indicative of a disqualifying "temperament".
ASA1: How do we know she was truthful?
@OP and in the case of RBG - she fucking apologized and recognized she shouldn't have said it immediately. She showed accountability for her actions and remorse - unlike Kavanaugh. That's the difference.
lol ok "temperament" is a talking point but alky crying as you bemoan how the Clintons have a conspiracy against you is a p good indictment of your partiality as a justice
D3: If he had a drinking or gambling problem it would have come up in his first 6 FBI background checks...
Also, ALL of his past rulings have been disclosed... you may be confused with confidential materials when he was White House Secretary which is a paper pushing positions. There have been more documents provided on Kavanaugh than every other SCOTUS justice in history...
D1: Not s single eye witness accused him of it...
Also, what would you call Booker? He claimed to be Spartacus over releasing documents already approved for release...
A1: Statistical analysis shows that money spent has minimal influence on the outcomes of elections...
Also, what sexual abuser did she support putting on the SCOTUS? Did you listen to her speech? Maybe read it after the fact? She tears your lies to shreds...
Although speaking of exposure. Did you know that support for Kavanaugh goes up by 20% when the person being polled is told that none of Fords alleged witness can corroborate her account? This entire process made media bias extremely obvious on the left as they pushed every ludicrous accusation and hide anything that was counter to Ford (e.g. her ex boyfriends letter).
Judge Kavanaugh can learn from it
White men are so happy in this country today. But it’s ok not everything lasts forever
D1: You should be a supporter of Kavanaugh now right? He has lived through the experience of false accusations be a stalwart for Justice reform and defendant rights.
Not to mention all the lies told about Kavanaugh from Harris and Fake Spartacus have nothing to do with empathy and all about posturing for 2020.
D1: No, but it should at least be believable. None of the accusations passed the more likely than not standard.
Also, do you agree than Booker is a fake and a fraud Spartacus?
The blatant lies and slandering of a good mans name with obviously fake gang rape accusations is just blatant at this point. If the democrats were serious about getting to the bottoms of Fords accusation they would have handled it differently. One that didn’t involve them sitting on it for 6 weeks while ford hired a Democrat operative suggested by DiFi as a lawyer and took a fake polygraph...
Y’all know dr. Ford was truthful and now we have a slightest chance that we have a serial drunk and sexual harasser in Supreme Court. It’s not going to effect just you but coming generation which will include your own daughters as well
Oh and another example of the Dems and the far-left virtue, calling for the harassment of Susan Collins?! According to crazy anti American jihadi Linda sarsour, susan is the “mother and grandmother of white women who gave us Donald trump” or some activists saying she shouldn’t have a moment of peace?! How can anyone support this racist, biased, anti diversity party is beyond me...
I've always felt that the media leaned left, but this story really showed their true colors. I've never seen such a coordinated effort to spread BS, take things out of context, or push a one-sided agenda. Collins nailed it when she referenced some of these "allegations", and how the media ran with them with ZERO evidence or corroboration.
Hell, the New Yorker published a full story about the Ramirez accusation. The person they interviewed was 100% certain he heard about the incident from ANOTHER PERSON. When the New Yorker contacted this other person, they denied it. Yet the New Yorker STILL RAN THE STORY.
@OP I believe that there were civic duty motivations in Dr. Ford's timing. Ford drove the timing. She has said so herself.
Quit trying to feed into rhetoric. It has been explained. Continuing to try and make something out of it just shows your partisanship.

Its because they have no argument. Emotionalism not reason drives everything
