Being a supply chain professional offers the opportunity to work in an industry with significant impact on the global economy and to develop skills for making informed decisions about how products and services are sourced, produced, and delivered. On the other hand, supply chain professionals must be able to manage multiple projects at once while dealing with tight deadlines and fluctuating demand from customers, which is really stressful
These are my opinions, but reason for is there's always opportunities available. Reason against is that there are other professions that can make significantly more money.
Not to mention supply chain jobs are more likely to be working holidays and weekends
On the plus side, the industry itself is expected to grow significantly over the coming years due to global demand for goods and services. On the negative side, it can be challenging to stay up-to-date on new technologies in the ever-evolving supply chain field.
You will have the chance to explore different industries, learn from experienced colleagues and gain valuable experience that can help you progress your career, but, you'll have to work long hours and be very dedicated to succeed
