Been on hold with JetBlue for an hour... 🐠, any way to get some help with my flight quicker?
Getting married next month and we’d like to have a joint checking account to cover shared expenses, however I don’t want to miss out on all the points I can rack up by consistently using my delta platinum card (spending thresholds = point bonuses, etc). Also my credit card bill will likely be a mix of shared and personal expenses, so how do couples go about this? Open to any advice. Thanks!
Flying from India to US on Emirates. I heard there are issues carrying laptops, anyone had issues recently ?
Do systemwide upgrades work on Finnair? If I have a connection does it take 2 upgrades or just 1?
Currently diamond w/ delta. Moved to Chicago...status match to United or American? I wish neither but need direct flights.
Worth going for delta platinum Medalian after gold .. vs starting routes on AA to make status?
So the cheese cubes in the Delta sky club, SPG, and Marriot club lounges are all the same yeah?
In other news: American Airlines pilot arrested just moments before take off for failing breathalyzer test at Reagan. #slowclapamerican
Hey I am selling 6 domestic upgrades and 4 international upgrades for United Airlines. The only caveat is that the ticket(s) must be booked by the end of the month. Get them while they are hot!
Traveling to Morocco in August with the fam. Wife and I are vaccinated but the kids aren’t. All under 10. I have been having second thoughts based on the delta variant. Is this a dumb thing for me to do and just reschedule for later? 2 weeks out now and I haven’t cancelled anything yet, we had a brutal summer so really want to get out.
Any thoughts or news about companies reconsidering reopening with the rise of the Delta Variant. This rent free life is hard to give up
Delta drink vouchers...enjoy!
Does delta bump your status down one level even if you don't re-qualify? I just got gold status (made platinum last year) but haven't met the requirements yet
I got hired as a consultant (wohoo!!) again and am looking forward to the grueling traveling hours. When I was in my former city I used to use Delta to get around but here it seems like I should go for either United or AA. Which do you all prefer and use? I have had bad experiences with United but that may just be a few.
Anyone flown NYC-BOM sector on Air China? How is it considering the layover is just 1 hour at PEK?
If I'm Delta Platinum, will I get any sort of status match from American? Usual Thursday flight got eliminated
What companies planned to go back around Labor Day and have now pushed that date further out due to Delta/breakthrough cases?
Does anyone know what typically bonus is for an SC I know it’s up to 24%(I think) but wanted to get more realistic numbers - if you are a top performer.
Fishies, I need your help. I received an offer for $160k from guidehouse. I’m currently paid $133k at EY. I don’t particularly love my practice as it is testing and the new practice with guidehouse would be IT strategy. EY has gotten me comfortable with the reimbursement for fitness, phone and internet and the promises from Kelly Grier of “really good bonuses and raises” this year. What would you do?
Share instances where you wanted to say “THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID” when something was said on a conference call. Bonus points if you actually did.
ACN digital M1 in ord. What's a fair pay?
Which party is more fascist? If definition is strong central control of society, culture, and private enterprise? Know we typically define it as right leaning but sounds like today’s left, no?
I'm grateful that I got promoted and got a raise under these circumstances, but I know that in my firm when people get promoted to be a manager, they are also offered bonuses, I wasn't (and I confirm that this was the case with my promoted peers-all male). I know that I'm a high performer, all my reviews were great and the management supported my promotion. I don't understand why I wouldn't get a bonus. I want to discuss this w/my director. Any suggestions on how I should express my frustration?
Reviewing resumes and I see more and more frequent that people last one year or less at a job and move on to the next. Is that the new norm? I’m a millennial but my last job I was with for over 4 years. Can I ask in the interview why they’ve moved around so much? Or find a nicer way of asking that. I’m definitely looking for longevity not a hopper.
Suggestions for KPIs for learning consultants?
Is 529 contribution a good investment option, if the aim is to save for my kid’s tuition - any perspectives - pro & cons appreciated.
Can I apply for the same department my wife works in? Or would that be conflict of interest? She works for a big 4
I am currently a SA at EY-Parthenon on the West Coast and looking to case for MBB. Comment if interested.
Have salaries in advertising really changed over the years/decades? I remember in 1993 at Lowe NYC when the salary list was left on the printer... the CDs were making about $200k on average. That’s 27 years ago.
Is burnout a big deal in Big Law? What would you change about your firm's culture to fix this? More than half of lawyers expect to work on holidays. https://www.fishbowlapp.com/insights/2019/11/24/more-than-half-of-lawyers-expected-to-work-on-holidays/
Anything me has a good code for Westin in downtown Washington DC or any other hotel in downtown Washington? Thanks 🙏
New to the company. CSG Professional Services. Hoping to be promoted from Senior Manager (Level 8) to Director (Level 9) after a year. Came onboard with a terrific RSU offer. How likely is it that upon promotion I will be offered an additional RSU allotment?
I was reached out to about a role that I was interested in pursuing but the recruiter said their base was 30k-40k lower than my range. However, recruiter came back 2 weeks later and said they can make it work and is interested in setting me up for interviews. In the mean time within those 2 weeks, I ended up accepting a role and started the new job. I would have taken the first job but don’t want to renege. What do I tell the first company so doors are left open for future if needs arise?
Which firms have the fastest career path outside of MBB and T2? I know those are up or out and they must be fast. But are there other firms that are known for promoting quickly? What is the average years to partner at your firm?
