Bummer! We were forced to RTO early last year and I still miss my 2 second commute to my home office lol. I would love to work 4 days at home and 1 in office just to see everyone in-person, but RTO wasn't nearly as awful as I anticipated. I'm just a homebody.
That’s terrible! Hopefully they get enough push back on that to cancel, it sucks having to go back in full time. I find that 3 days in 2 days off really works for me, I get to use my at home days to catch up on house work!
Man that stinks. My company is pretty lenient now. I go in 2x a week when I have childcare and work the rest from home. But they're pretty chill about it and I don't always have to go in. I also come and go as I please. Main thing is get my work done and no one will ask questions. It makes me feel trusted and valued and I find myself enjoying the work and desiring to put in more effort!
We had to go back nearly two years ago. I was annoyed at first, but really, I'd worked in offices before so it was not a huge shock. I actually learned a lot working in the office over the years, and being around other people isn't so bad. The part of it I don't like is the commuting, I get how pointless that can feel.
