My referral had interviews w/ (1)
recruiter, (1) SM, then the series of
(3) 1:1's w/(1) MD and (2) SM's.
The recruiter said he will now have
an interview in Jan. w/ the PPMD.
He interviewed for a M role in
consulting for customer marketing.

He does have a wide skill set and the
recruiter said it was all positive
feedback, just have to find out
where to put him (on the team he
interviewed for or another he is
qualified for).Deloitte

Yes, yes, we do. I still do a bunch of work (litigation), but without worrying about billing and office politics, the actual legal work is a breeze.
LOL! I’m a government attorney and I wish that I had that kind of time on my hands! My time is stretched thin during the majority of the week because I try to avoid working on the weekends. The pros are that I’m able to cut things off at 5:00 when I don’t have deadlines or I’m not prepping for hearings. Also, my managers are really easy to work with. I was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago and they were very supportive. The con is that it’s less money than BigLaw.
I said I’m able to cut things off at 5 when I don’t have deadlines. That happens from time to time. Not as often as I’d like, but it does happen. I rarely work weekends because I will work past 5:00 when I have to. It really depends on what my Lit calendar looks like.
