Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

Could be that there are two openings for the same position. We just hired a few months ago and we had two openings with two requisition numbers. We are hiring again and this time they posted one requisition for two openings. It can go either way.
They probably opened the rec to fill one position, but now need another person and had to open a new rec. most of the times if they know up front they need more than one person, they open a rec for multiple people, but sometimes it comes after the fact and a new rec is needed.
Do i leave them alone or reach out to HR and ask what’s going on? And if they have 2 openings now?
