Hi, I'm leaving Citi in 2 months. It's hard to make this decision. I have an offer from a small startup. In citi, my previous experience was not considered and was reskilled to different tech which is the reason for change.I don't like to exit citi. As I like the company so much. But considering my current knowledge,I am in the middle of the sea.I am afraid now that the new company's offer would be revoked due to this recession?Or can I take back my resignation in citi before the last working day.Is this wise decision?

Not overreacting. This is how it begins. And it has most decidedly begun. Be dismissive if you wish (that's part of the pattern, too) but history will show just how interconnected these things are and where we are likely headed.
That's when you say "Make America great again, amirite??" And raise your hand to give a high five.
Yeah, nice assumption. My last name is Patel
Brown girl born and raised here. Was randomly searched this morning 🙄
It really grinds my gears to see some of the responses on this thread. If OP felt uncomfortable or discriminated against, why does the peanut gallery of white males feel the need to invalidate OP's interaction? All of the facetious comments about being white and randomly searched from you are wildly insensitive. Maybe the TSA agent was cranky or was giving everyone hard glares that morning, or maybe it was just OP. we'll never know. One thing I do know is that you will probably never feel what it's like to be discriminated against because of your skin color. Just because it doesn't happen to you doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
Brown guy, didn't have any random search or was not glared at. Sucks that you guys went though... thought some positivity was needed as well
You're overreacting
These people were probably racist long before and will be long after Trump. It's too bad his rhetoric and policies and behavior provide a safe zone for other racists to feel comfortable and extrovert about it.
Ey3 you don't understand cause you're probably a white male.
White male and was randomly searched today. Saw another white male getting the full body pat down. Guy checking my ticket glared at me as well, although it seems like he was just a cranky man at 5 am.
Brown guy here. Have been regularly getting "randomly" searched since 2001.
"And so it begins", " It has begun"... we just witnessed about the biggest peaceful protest in recorded history, across age groups, gender, religions, countries in the world - pretty much anyone who isn't either a committed 'Trump voter' or who doesn't care about politics (not now, not ever) unless their house is on fire because of it. What do you mean - it has begun? This country (and I'm a permanent resident) is absolutely wonderful about any sort of ethnicities if you evaluate it on a relative scale, and compare with basically any other country with sizable immigrant populations in the world, and definitely compared to its own history a few decades back. Calm the F down because of a stare.
"Hard glare"? Wow sounds rough.
BCG1: White people see discrimination too. I had a project in Mexico. I used to fly to Tijuana and walk across the border to San Diego, then catch an uber home. Every week hordes of people get off the plane in Tijuana and walk to baggage claim no problem. Except every week the guards would stop me and ask me for paper work (you need to have a visa to be in Mexico more than 48 hours or something). I asked the guards "Why do you stop me and no one else?" They reply "They're Mexicans you aren't". "How do you know I'm not and they are?" "Just show us your papers." Honestly nbd but I hate the assumption that racism against whites is impossible. I also hate classifying things as "racist" that aren't -- it makes it harder to address real "racist" things when they happen
Randomly searched this morning as well. And so it begins...
Over reacting. I am brown too. it was BAU.
BCG1: Because when you encourage people to see demons in every shadow, they don't realize when they actually to see a demon. Not to mention it is a pathetic way to live, always seeing and assuming the worst in every situation.
White guy. Can confirm I get glared at all the time by TSA agents and have been patted down more than my fair share of times. It's not you. Quit whining and thinking someone looking at you crosseyed is the end of our Republic when we still are wildly more tolerant than nearly every other country. Probably stared at you for being such a crybaby.
:(
