Lol. Did I say anything about devaluing the secretary in any way? No. So chill out. I just made a comment about a laugh.

There's always one obnoxious consultant who underestimates the value of said secretary and how hard he/she actually works.

I’m thinking about buying a new office chair with the $600 from Trump. The Herman Miller Aeron seems to get brought up often here. What about the Steelcase Gesture? Wirecutter ranks the Gesture better than the Aeron. Also, do you buy without ever sitting on? I’ve always gone to Office Max and tried chairs out before buying. Thanks!

Nightmare situation today at my first Zoom trial. On Friday, the court said trial would begin at 1:30 PM on Monday. We informed our clients and all our witnesses to be ready at that time. Never got a Zoom link, figured it would show up Monday morning. At 9:01 AM on Monday, we get an email saying, among other things, “Defense counsel has not appeared for trial.” Then, another email came immediately after that, with a Zoom link included. It’s just me and the paralegal in the office at this point.

I have no idea how to get motivated again. I am a legit zombie that sits and types for hours and hours without talking to anyone. I feel like a shell of a person.
