Hi All, My sister has done Computer Science engineering Bachelor degree and has 5 years of work experience in India. She is applying for MBA at https://www.kenan-flagler.unc.edu/programs/mba/full-time-mba/ and https://kelley.iu.edu/programs/full-time-mba/academics/majors-minors/marketing.html. Her overall goal is to get into Software Product management. Any suggestions if any of these MBA’s can open path in the desired space or if she is better of doing an MS in Comp engg. to further develop deeper Technology skills. Thanks

I didn’t appeal, this was for Virginia. Not sure about other states
Did you appeal for this or did they do this for everyone?
Did they automatically do this or you had to call ?
I didn’t do anything they just sent me an email
State board (virginia)
There are two significant changes to timing that pretty much all states are doing. Why all states? Because when NASBA and AICPA backs something, they all conform.
1. Extending the 18-month window to 30- months for exams taken 1/1/24 onward.
2. Creating an extension for any exams that one has credit for as of 1/1/2024. This extension effectively gets people to 30-months.
The reason they are doing this is scores are going to be wildly delayed in 2024. Also, the discipline sections are only offered for one month each quarter. (And if you happen to work in tax, your pretty much screwed with the timing for the discipline sections.)
Another key distinction for CPA Evolution is they are changing the date of measure for a passing score to the day when you receive your score versus the day when you took the exam.
