Half the weeks on the client site we don't get to meet with the client in person. They usually dial in from down the hall. It boggles my mind. Such a waste of time and money

I traveled five to go from the primary client location to an alternate client location to have interviews over the phone with people in the primary location. And I couldn't fly my airline!

My team travels to client site to work for a client who works remote 48 weeks of the year. We also have a total of 1 hour of meetings with him a week and very little interaction outside our team. So useless.

I’m getting to the final interview stages in most of my job prospects.. but I can’t seem to land one.

usually at least 3 1-1 interviews and then a case study. I get pretty generic feedback.

I’m going for strategy positions so I’m competing mostly with big 3 talent. I’m not big three.

Any advice? I get my case study and presentation reviewed by my mentor (ex BCG and current VC)

What's the most effective way for a small RIA to recruit FAs who have a few years experience, want to break away from large/corporate firms? I wanted to give an update on those active on a post I did about my mom asking me to loan her $150K. I told her last night it wasn’t happening and she was SALTY. She went on about how when I move out, I must take everything to not waste her space and how not to ask for money when I get a place. Funny thing is my parents raised me to not loan money out cuz it breaks relationships and the feeling of owing us just eh. This made me want to move out faster. She is going to up rent to $1500 too 😭
