I took it back in 2016, and having been in AML for 3 years at the time thought it was not too difficult, but I think it has gotten a bit harder now. I started by reading through the book once over, not focusing on “studying” to get the big picture. Then did a second round taking detailed notes, reviewing them periodically to continually refresh and hammer home the key concepts, and then spent a good chunk of my time on the practice test and definitions.
Definitely make sure you know the answers to the practice tests and bold definitions - there were some exact questions from those on my exam. Also know the difference between the EU directives, key points of FATF, general structure for how an institution should handle an investigation/reg examination, and know the various groups and what they are known for (edgmont, Wolfsburg, etc). The downloadable flash cards are also helpful.
When you get to take the exam you get a piece of paper and a pencil. Given the pass/fail nature of the test, I though it was helpful to track every question # I answered into 1 of 3 categories - definitely right, somewhat confident, or no clue. Once going through the test once, i knew where abouts i stood, and how many more i would need in addition to the “definitely right” to achieve a passing score. Once i worked through the question numbers in my “somewhat confident” category, i thought i had about 90/120 right, which would be a 75 and passing, so I just took a best guess on the remaining questions without stressing too much. This strategy helped me manage my time and the stress which can come with taking a computer type of test like this. I recommended this to other colleagues and they said it helped too.
Good luck with your studying/exam!
Congrats!! Happy to hear it OP
I took benefit from CAMS dumps for the preparation of my IT exam and I think there are many students who really need this stuff. I got success after perusing the questions and answers in this material. Nothing was difficult to understand so I got a full understanding of the discipline. It is available at very low price so anyone can easily buy it. https://www.dumpssure.com/acams-questions-answers.html
