For the office, it might be okay. I bought a walking pad last year for my apartment and, even with a thick pad underneath, I found it to be to too loud and worried about complaints from my downstairs neighbor. I also found it difficult to focus on what I was reading bc I was more focused on not falling.

I got one and I LOVE it. I walk at least 2 hours a day on it and it’s just as easy to type as it is just using the standing desk
I got one 6 months ago for my home office. It’s great for easy days like doc review or sitting on long calls where you’re doing more listening than talking. However, it’s difficult to use if you’re drafting or multi-tasking, just too much to focus on at once. Wouldn’t recommend for in-office because you may not want to walk that much in your office clothes (and can get a little sweaty!)
I got the GoYouth from Amazon a few weeks ago and love it.
