33 M in NYC. Open to chatting!
I had final techno manager round which was completed on 30 Mar, and after ugadi holiday, on 6th I have received the positive feedback and confirmation mail and asked to share the payslips and relevant documents. Still waiting for the offer letter. Called HR on 20th April for the updates, she told she is working on my offer and it will release soon. Any ideas on this fishes?Cerner Corporation

Culture is great, with office culture being particularly strong due to the lack of weekly travel. Hours can be long (as at any firm), but you may get staffed on multiple projects (I've seen up to 4 or 5 for an associate, but typical is 1-2 ar a time).
Interview: know your fit Q's, obviously. I'm DA track so can't speak to an SIP case.
What level are you looking to enter in?
How do you manage two projects or more at once? What type of work are you doing?
Depends which office you're talking about. And which level you're interviewing for.
I can't say I'm terribly happy here. It's alright, but I've been looking around within my first few months of starting. If I'm going to do grunt work, I might as well do it somewhere with a better name. Regretting my decision.
There was a lot of misinformation in my experience in regards to promotion expectations, salary, and job availability by location. The first two were very important to me.
I probably can't go into detail about the projects.
I can't say if it would be a good or bad idea to consider ZS. I can only say I mostly regret my decision and should have went through with another company. Push HR to provide info and stats with whatever they tell you and never take what they say for face value. Good luck.
I would be a senior associate with potential to be AC within a year or so rather than 1.5 years
Why are you not happy ZS 2?
Is the SIP role actual strategy work?
@OP: when did they tell you that you could be promoted within 1 to 1.5 years?
hr contact I’ve been talking to said so
What do you think?
These were recent topics on the ZS bowl.
I would suggest asking for stats on the promotion timeline for experienced hires. They supposedly stopped or corrected this messaging. It's a large part as to why I'm disgruntled. I was told I should expect to be promoted in 1 to 1.5 years given most experienced hired are on an "expedited track". After I accepted, i was told 1.5 years is an aggressive goal and 1 year is impossible.
If you get stats, please feel free to share. They're not giving it to me at least. I believe they said I didn't have a good reason.
Regarding the work, I guess it'll depend on your definition of strategy. Most would say no. I would agree with this given the few projects I've been staffed on.
Honestly, it's not all bad. I just didn't like the lying, and I can't shake that off. If your current situation is bad, I would give ZS a shot, but be cautious with anything they tell you. If you're in a good situation, then stay!
I’m in audit and really want to get into real consulting. So thinking ZS would be a good foot in the door. Do you agree? Also - what do you mean about the lying? Lying about promotion track or what else?
What are the few projects you have been staffed on like?
