This is silly to be happy about but it’s a personal win. Because of stupid decisions I made when I was in my 20’s, I had not so great credit and always had to get a co-signer on a car or apartment well into my 30’s. Last year, my wife and I bought a house with the lowest interest rate and today I applied for the AmEx Platinum and was approved immediately - no “we will contact you” or “need further review”. It’s something most ppl can get but it was a nice feeling after years of BS.

I need help, I looking for a good paying job because I am tired of being a teacher assistant. I am kind of stuck and don’t know what route to take.
