No I have found since it’s going to get paid they provide more than adequate service and even try to get you continued care .
No. That would be a violation of the Hippocratic oath that all medical practitioners must take when licensed and violating that would imply a litany of lawsuits. The only difference are the pharmaceutical companies contracted to provide services and the availability of certain Brand Name meds or medical devices. For example if you are a Thpe 1 diabetic with Tricare you could get the OmniPod w/Dexcom 6 reader while you may have to pull teeth with certain endocrinologists on the civilian side.
Also there are poor providers everywhere. The military is NO exception. I’ve heard horror stories my time as a Medic in a hospital.
I don't believe so. If you're being treated poorly, it's a sign of a bad provider. I would recommend trying to find a different provider if you feel you're being discriminated against because of TRICARE.
No. So far I have never experienced being treated poorly. I have always been satisfied with the service I get from private providers.
