Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.
Thanks in advance!

A) it’s hideous and looks like it belongs in Daryl Hannah’s apartment in Wall Street. B) look at all those connection points. Those are all the ways it’s going to break or wobble on your ass every-time you bump into it. C) it’s hideous.
You prob have to set it all up. Also there realistically isn’t much space as monitors should go behind the laptop
I have this desk and I use it as a TV stand. It’s way too narrow to use for a laptop + monitor unless you have it completely off to the side. Would not recommend. And pwc1’s wife is absolutely correct 😅
It's aesthetically unappealing

Like everyone else is saying, it’s too narrow. A desk’s depth is super important. You need to be able to sit your monitors far back enough so that you can comfortably look at them when sitting. With a desk this narrow, you’d be craning your neck down.
For maybe $100 more you could get something way nicer and as a consultant I'm sure you could afford to splurge

Also, 100% guarantee you bang your knee on one of the corners once per day.

It’s cheap and it holds stuff
Ya.. you are missing that it’s really ugly

My stepkid has this desk and I use it for work. It is surprisingly sturdy. But it is too narrow. Barely any room for anything but the laptop. The monitor stand and external keyboard and mouse help though. I like all the shelf space because I have a lot of crap. Lots of room for snacks. However would not recommend because I feel like I am sitting at a tiny cramped desk in a middle school
$368 including the chair. Not including the monitors or mount. It is electronically adjustable from 29 inches to 50+ inches. Got everything from amazon. You can do better mate.
I bought that desk, or similar, from Ikea. Love it!

That style reminds of one of the vehicles in Mad Max.

No too narrow, trust me, also DMed you
No
Get a standing desk save that ass.

I would just buy a standard desk
