I transferred firms to EY almost a year ago. I’m currently a SA1. I recently got my H1-B extension. Is it reasonable to assume that EY will start my GC application once I’ve been with the firm for a year? Or do I need to be at a higher rank or have less time left on my H1-B for them to get the process started?
Fishes, how were the appraisals in general at Deutsche Bank for roles in Mumbai location? Understand that they got concluded only recently so it will be interesting to know. While it may vary from function to function but we will atleast got to know a ballpark figure. Also if you could add your designations, will be great.

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?
Move dilemma:
Currently @ Arthur D. Little Limited Dubai as SE Manager w/ base comp of 285k $ + 10-15% bonus. Vert limited fit w/ people & projects in the region (MEI) & not motivated by seniors. Not happy w/ the job but good WLB. Very likely to promote to Pr which would include a 20-30% jump in total comp but shift to more variable
Move to MBB as PL. Projects & people are supposed to be great and he could see himself in the long run. Comp is 170k $ + 60% bonus. Will take 1.5y to move to Pr

Take the offer and sign with EY. Continue interviewing at Accenture but the offer could get delayed there anyways. If you’re happy at EY then you’re good. If you get a great offer at Accenture you can reconsider. Worst case you pass on EY and then Accenture doesn’t materialize.
Accenture is definitely more technical than EY when it comes to some of their projects. So it depends on what you’re looking for when you say Cyber
I’m looking to get away from hands on implementation and more to strategy/business aspects of things
I always thought Deloitte was generally perceived to be the better among the big 4 in cyber. Whats driving your move?
Doubling would be impressive!
Which role in cyber? We just had some people in our team leave so I wonder if you’re joining us!
What level at EY have they offered you? Just curious
