We’re great!
- Comp: think we’re in line with M and B after our comp adjustment last year, BCG seems to be slightly ahead
- WLB: depends a lot on team and project, ~55 hours a week with no weekend work is the target // we have teams looking into building norms around sustainable WLB specifically given the crunch over 2021
- Project mix: almost every practice you see on our website is represented in London, though of course with slight FS bias
- Culture: no way of comparing since I’ve only workednin OW, but everyone (less 2-3) I’ve worked with has been smart and nice; great investment into office events and other aspects of culture now that we’re moving to be in-person again (gradually)
Don’t know a whole lot about our TMT practice unfortunately, but have heard of some cool clients there. Unless you mean “tech” as in tech consulting, in which case some would probably be done in our Digital practice, though we don’t really do those large scale implementation projects you’d see in ACN or the likes.
I’d apply for a Senior Consultant or Associate role in the Private Capital practice. Senior Consultant will probably be safer so you get a bit more room to get used to the way of working here - doesn’t affect total comp at year end if you’re able to show you can perform at a higher level after joining.
That said, no need to stress out too much about this, we’ll sort it out as part of the interview process!
Good firm. Top of the Tier 2s I'd say.
