I just made my first investment! I’m 25, a grad student, and bought 1 share of VTI. I’ve been feeling super behind financially/investing-wise, but today I feel a little bit better. ☺️

Do Delta tickets bought through the Chase Travel portal count as revenue tickets? Do you earn MQMs and mileage?

Currently I’m at 715 mark on my credit. If I pay off one more medical debt, it could increase it by 25 points. Should I wait to pay that off before getting a credit card or should I just get one now? I’m asking because it’s a pretty big medical bill.

How concerned are you about inflation? We have 70% savings rate and 50% of our expenses are housing / utilities of which the largest part is rent which is a fixed contract (no CPI escalation, no automatic increases, paying same rent for 4 years). No car as we are living in a large city. So if I look at the components of CPI and what’s rising I am feeling pretty „good“ about it. The one thing I am „worried“ is asset inflation but obviously that benefits me directly. What am I missing?
