I've totally seen lions on account peeps LinkedIns. As I've never won a lion I'm not sure of the customs and courtesies as to who won it.
Though, my personal belief is the lion belongs to the entire team. Everyone has a purpose. Though teamwork doesn't exactly seem to exist anymore in this industry.
Yes, you absolutely should. If you were on the team and really did contribute, then you earned that award.
I feel like it gets a little iffy with credit for work vs. case study. The case study is more of a means to an end although I guess you can’t have one without the other. Use your best judgement. Take credit if you honestly played a central role. If you feel weird about taking credit or someone from your office seeing it on your profile, then you probably have your answer. I’ve seen plenty of account ppl list it on their LinkedIn under clients. Also, be ready to talk about your role in the project in interviews. I know I’m asked almost every interview.
I kind of get it if a strategist lists it (if they’ve been the one to create the brief and direction) ... anyone else, no.
I think you should on your LinkedIn if you were part of the team that brought the work to life. Probably wouldn’t on my resume. But that’s just me
yeah of course, if you care about awards, that is. but if you won it and were part of the team, list it.
