Truck drivers, what would you change about your job?

I would change the issues with our trucks, they always seem to be breaking down. Also i wish my lodging was aid for!

The long hours away from my family. I drive all over the east coast so sometimes I'm only home two days out the week. I feel like I miss out on big moments

I hate having to secure the load and the fact that if something gets damaged it's all on me. It's so much pressure.

I hate that it's such long day. Even though we can only drive for a certain amount of time, waiting for them to load and unload the truck can be really annoying

This is what I hate. We should get paid for this time. It takes hourssss sometimes

I would definitely pay us a reasonable wage. I would also make sure none of us are poorly treated by our companies and the businesses we transport goods to and from. One can only wish.

I definitely know what my driver friends would say. It's the wage and long working hours.

Low wages, long hours and lack of benefits. I also hate that we are not paid for the loading and unloading time. They are still part of the job.

Are there any in house entertainment roles that are particularly good? Netflix is obviously FAANG but I’ve heard the culture is cutthroat. On the other end of the spectrum, heard the traditional TV networks pay terribly. Any other options? What about in house music roles? Is that a thing?

I am a 17 year seasoned outpatient PT in Tampa FL who is the current head PT for my clinic. I do marketing, admin duties as well as staffing. I haven’t gotten a base hourly salary raise in 8 years! (I do get a percentage of profits but due to Covid, haven’t gotten one in 2 yrs). I do not get 401k, con Ed or health insurance benefits.
Current salary is $85K. I am getting very frustrated that this has not increased even after asking. Thoughts? What to do? What do other seasoned FL PTs make?
