Hello fishes, need some guidance on the following questions - How is cognizant doing currently? Is it safe to join cognizant? How about the attrition rate, any improvement? How about job security? Do they layoff? Looking for some serious suggestions. I have a loan on me, and my package is low. And IBM doesn't give any hike. So was looking to switch. But afraid after hearing about current situation of cognizant. I am thinking several times before coming to a conclusion. 🙂 @Cognizant

Anywhere but San Francisco. The Bay Area is one of the most decrepit places in the world.
Seattle / Washington don't have city / state tax. That'll make a significant difference vs SF
A4...SF also has some of the highest cost of living in the country and a double digit state tax rate as mentioned by A1. If you’re trying to say that SF is near to the cost of living in WA just shtaaaapp.
As someone who was from SF, I thought I would never ever ever move to LA.
Well, I'm here and I actually like it. LA has a lot of different neighborhoods, and it takes some time to figure out which one works best for you.
Long beach! Or Pasadena. I’m not a fan of LA proper but all of the smaller cities around it have a great neighborhood feel to it.
LA!!!
I live in LA and I love it. I lived in the Bay, too. Depends on what you’re into.
I’m from the Bay but now live in Seattle. Absolutely love it here. Cost of living is so much more reasonable than SF and nature is easily accessible.
LA>Seattle>San Francisco
NYC.
But actually, Seattle.
Are you a guy or gal?
Not sure about Seattle but SF would prob have a much better dating scene for ya
Go back home! Move back to Cali.
My one draw to Seattle is my bfs top job choice(both monetary and actual work wise) is based there, but I’m a California girl through and through and I wanna come home :( so I’m in two minds about it
I’m pretty open to anything on the West Coast ( I’ve never lived in Seattle and no nothing about it). I guess SF and LA would be preferred for me, but I’m willing to try Seattle
Another vote for LA! Really love it here. Every time I go to SF I’m thankful I live in LA 😜
Is ‘none of the above’ an option? Way too expensive/rainy/snobby for my tastes
Austin, TX
