need opinion
I have received an offer letter from ZS as DAC.
lets suppose they offered X amount
and I was able to negotiate and increase the offer..
now I have mail confirmation from the HR of the new compensation structure that it has been set in backend. however he is saying offer letter cant be changed..so i had to sign the old offer letter while i have mail confirmation for new compensation.
Is this okay ? will there be problem later ?

Do you have offers or just wondering in general? If you don’t have offers at the moment I don’t see why you can’t pursue both at the moment to hedge your bets
Just wondering in general. That’s a good thought, may take this approach.
My only advice is determine how long of you a stint you plan to take in your next role.
If aiming for A&M TAG, I’d say you should reasonably plan to stay for 2-3 years at a minimum to really make the comp model worth it and account for up/down years.

IB all the way man. You have much better exit ops and will learn way more than building QoE tables and NWC charts.
IB makes you more competitive for FP&A, Corp Dev, Investor Relations. Basically any job you can think of. Everyone has heard of Investment Bankers. Not every hiring manager knows what an M&A Financial Due Diligence Manager is.
