“Work just as hard.” Lol no.
Agree. Buddy in IB and they are now proposing a “protected Saturday”. However this is only when you are not on an active deal haha
We make half as much and work half as much
I get the impression it's more like work half has much make a quarter

We definitely don’t work as much but I think people here are off on the margins. FDD at PwC probably averages 65 hours a week, banking is realistically more like 80-85. The difference is significant but not incomparable.

I was eating a lot of hours due to pressure from directors, and not all hours are billable, so my utilization was around 110%. The whole thing made me very bitter and cynical about a company I used to have a lot of pride in. And thanks, got my dream job and hopefully not looking back!
