Trying to get a head start on my Valentine's Day planning, does anyone have suggestions on romantic restaurants that would be a nice setting to propose?

I don't have a specific restaurant in mind but I have an idea of a perfect setting. It would be more romantic having a dinner at the beach front or maybe at the highest floor of a building with the view of the city. That would be romantic.

Depends what you’re looking for in a restaurant - are you guys foodies? Or just want something that has nice scenery?

There’s a really nice Italian restaurant just south of OV, Mangia Cucina. It’s a house and really good food.

Pepinos is also very nice small and quiet.
Les Faux Bourgeois
Botanist

I like HR1’s suggestion - beach front, but would do it privately at like Lighthouse park in West Van or go to Belcarra.

Or if you want both scenery and food, you could do the Observatory on Grouse. Lastly, if you want to stay in the city and get a view - LIFT in Coal Harbour is nice.

If youre creating a list, you should also try:
That’s so French
Suyo
Masayoshi
Kissa Tanto
Published on Main (if you can get in)
Autostrada (prefer the Main Street one to the downtown one)

With its seven-tier glass chandeliers, glass courtyard, bricked walls, and exceptional service, Brix & Mortar is a setting unlike any other.

Nothing screams romance more than anything French/Paris themed. Au Comptoir is the name if the restaurant.

I love the ambience at Bacchus Restaurant ang Lounge. It has a gorgeous fireplace, upholstered couches covered in plush leather, dark wood, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Take your date to Di Beppe. The restaurant is offering excellent Italian cuisine in a laid-back atmosphere in lively Gastown. Expect to feel quite romantic and intimate.

Homer St. Cafe and Bar is renowned for its elevated comfort food menu, open kitchen design, elaborate tiling, and rich history. Your mood is made more romantic by the interiors.

I recently went to NOX and it was a pretty good experience.

Definitely, Tea House!

Just want to make sure people know this and don’t apply jobs in this shady company- it is called UniQ Biotech, in Delta, BC, Canada
