Virtusa I recently got a job offer in virtusa. I read a lot of negative reviews about virtusa. Can someone through some light on whether i can join virtusa by ignoring all the negatives which includes horrible work life balance and no job security.
I also have an offer with CGI but they are paying 4 lakhs lesser than virtusa. This is giving me a lot of confusion. Help me through this please.

I would suggest that you start with something light, maybe start with some online articles in your interest area and then switch to books. Please don't start with Ayn Rand or Murakami, you will only get bored and discouraged. I read Norwegian Wood a few years back, completed it too and I found it to be so depressing, no matter what my other Murakami fan friends say :P.
Also, think what is the purpose of reading? There needs to be a goal, something that you want to get out of reading.
Don't just read because your avid reader friend makes it look cool. They have developed this as a habit over a span of several years.
Also, if you think that it will improve your fluency / vocab in English language, even then it's a long process. Start conversing in English, reading articles, using new words in conversations and slowly you will build your vocab.
Most importantly, you need to enjoy the experience of reading.
I don't like reading myself and I have tried to inculcate this habit, haven't been successful yet. I have realised that I like watching videos more than reading or listening to podcasts. I have also realised that starting small is the best approach.
Hope this helps :)
If you want to get into the habit start with easy lit like Stephen king or John grisham. Fun thing these authors always have a movie of their book so you can enjoy it more.
Start with what interests you and then move to other genres.
Since you like business and technology books, start with those. Pick simple ones like Shoe Dog, or Click (I personally love this book; it talks about India’s e-commerce landscape).
I would also suggest reading books by storytellers such as Jeffrey Archer. For the simple reason that they’ll get you hooked to books and help you explore the world of fiction. Fiction will ultimately help you increase your reading speed and express yourself better.
