Depends on your work. For a company to keep an AD they like, a 10k bump is peanuts compared to their senior salaries. It’s not uncommon for companies to overcompensate mid-level employees in order to keep them in house (ie. Pay them enough that no one else would possibly pay them more)
After my first year in the biz I asked for a 15k raise, got a 10k raise. Nobody was weird about it. If anything, game seemed to respect game. But you gotta be in good standing at your agency

Holding company agency, 5-10%. Independent agency is usually more (if that agency is doing well). The low increases are why most people hop around
👆what I’m saying is, when you move agencies your pay bump can be 20-30% or more vs getting like a 10% raise from a promotion at your current agency

I got 4% last year. After pushing for three months. This year Havas acted like the were broke and my boss told me “I don’t know what to tell you.” So I got another job making way, way more money and left.
