Hi all! I could use some advice! I’ve been in software sales for 8 years now, plus another 10 years spent in Asset Management (changed careers in 2015).

About a year ago, I turned down a role from Saleforce bc I took a job with a “hedge fund”. Unfortunately, i learned later the company didn’t exist - a con man story (not worth explaining). I did a poor job of maintaining a relationship with the SFDC manager, whom I really liked, and now I’m without a job. And advice on reconnecting ?

What are peoples opinions on work from home? It seems to be an unpopular opinion but as a junior I despise it. Self-described ‘aggressive litigators’ are insecure lawyers compensating poor technical skills with unjustified pressure.

Leaving my (London, big US) firm; HR has sent me various confirmations they are asking me to sign “before my last day”: I haven’t taken any docs, am aware of my regulatory obligations, don’t have any claims against the firm, have returned everything I need to return etc etc etc. This feels like an obvious try-on: the firm isn’t paying me anything to sign, my reg obligations are unaffected by it etc. How do others manage these? Just walk out on last day?

Does anybody have experience working with Fried Frank? I have an interview with them for a Funds NQ role and they seem like a great fit, but I just wanted to see if anyone has any inside insight.
