Has anyone passed the Oracle GL 2021 exam yet ?
Starting a new job at Applied Materials on Monday as a Manufacturing Engineer III. I’ve been out of college for 5 years and all of my work experience till now has been in R&D for start ups and small businesses . So not only is this a new experience for me going into such a large company but also a industry (semiconductors). Does anybody has tips or advices on what I should expect as a new hire and how I can set myself up for success? Thanks!

My dad's a senior software architect getting 35 lpa for 18 years work experience in cognizant. His tech stack is AEM and he has worked on angular and Java Projects as well. Since he is getting underpaid a lot ... Hopefully someone can refer him Adobe or some product companies. Even service company with good pay also is acceptable

I had a 45 year old trainee solicitor in my batch because it was her second career! She took a GDL conversion at 40. There were other second career trainees as well.
If you take the QLTS, you aren't coming in as a trainee. Although I suspect they will take a discount on your PQE if you have never done any English law work before.
Also, they are converting the system to SQE soon and doing away with the QLTS so should check what the deadlines are for that.
Thank you so much- this is so helpful and gives me hope! . I passed the 1st part of the MCT and was going to sit the OSCE in Nov 2021. I did not know about the switch to see so THANK YOU!
You could always try and get a gig as foreign qualified. Will be allowed to practice but not sign off etc. And when you’re already in a firm study for the QLTS/SQE?
Thank you!
