I have offer from Nagarro for 32 LPA(1.6 variable) and another from Turing of 34 LPA (2.5 Variable) I don't want to Join Turing, but can I negotiate with Nagarro based on Turing offer to increase my package? Or is it too risky since I don't have any other offer. What are chances if negotiation fails they(Nagarro) resind the offer?

Lots of factors. Primarily based on active fund size, AUM, and firm (Early, late/growth, CVC, etc). If it’s a traditional firm, it’s likely total management fees taken out of the fund is 2-3% (firm dependent) and they budget comp from that.
My best guess is ~170k-185k though.
That looks right...200 max
And zero carry most of the time
What level is senior associate (e.g. 1 year post-MBA?)
Partner track doesn’t really exist in VC - it may exist at the large shops at the top and only for senior associates one step removed from becoming a partner
For like the 99% of us, it’s joining another fund or exit into corporate VC which is increasingly popular or a corp dev/strategy position at a tech company/startup
What type of fund?
1. TCV/ Insight/summit
2. USV/Menlo/ Greycroft
3. Collaborative/homebrew/Lehrer hippeau
4. RRE/Firstmark/norwest
It’s a great place to start your career. It’s basically just sourcing, but they get paid very well. I’ve spoken with analysts there and don’t think they usually take lateral analysts because they have such a structured recruiting process via summer interns. I know analysts are ready to refer too. I got referred but not even an interview which was pretty lame
