Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?

I think I am more interested in VC/Growth vs late stage PE, but wanted to know more about the difference in comp between the two. I am looking at roles in London, so would be great to know whose comp is higher and who are the top payers for VCs/early growth.

So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.

How do you count years of experience? Lets say you were a web master for 5 years. Then you transitioned into a proper UX role and did that for 5 years. Is that 10 years of experience or 5?

When you get stuck on a design or when you are starting a big project, what are your creative processes? Do you look at colors? inspiration? Pen and paper? Illustrate something? Want to work with my designer on a toolbox of steps to pick from to find what works best for their individual creative process? It’s a lot more money, more aligned with my career goals, and will have better work life balance. I’d be an idiot to not take this great new opportunity! I started out as a graphic designer. Worked for about 4yrs in different roles. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Like in 5-10 years I wouldn’t want to be a specialist or a ux director. I d like to be an art director or creative director. I love branding & marketing but also product. Would love something that allows me to do both?

Is front end web dev a lucrative career choice? Currently in the commercial banking industry but don’t enjoy it a ton, enjoy learning basic front end web dev because I like the control and creative aspect of it, was curious if I should just keep it as a hobby and keep a stable banking job or possibly look into trying to prepare to make a switch in a few years.
