Call amex they do a one time courtsey. You also get a 15 day grace period for payments
If you submit every week this doesn't happen, no matter the timing weirdness
Wait if PwC doesn’t pay your bill by the “Please pay by” date you don’t get the Amex points?
I quickly calculated and all expenses were properly submitted in DTE, just timing is funky
Frustrated bc I don’t get Amex points for the months which account is overdue. Can’t figure if I messed something up but I don’t think I did?
How long is it taking for your expenses to hit your account ?
You can also ask Amex to change the due date
I didn’t know that. I want my points!
Now I’m really upset
@pwc1 yes, you don’t get points for that month unless you call them to reinstate. Requires your account to be paid up to date and also a $35 fee for reinstatement per bill period
If you import all expenses every week, there is never an overdue amount. Assuming you pay your personal portion not imported in DTE
As others have mentioned, you won’t have an issue as long as you stay on top of weekly expense reports. That being said, if you end up needing to call them to get some points reinstated, they’ll waive around 4 fees’ worth no questions asked
