For all the US colleagues: A fellow consultant was doing his MBA in the US. He left in a hurry due to covid and came back to London, but didn’t close his bank account with Santander and left $6-7K. Now the bank says that you can NOT transfer the money to another UK bank with online banking and you need to be physically present at one of their branches to do so. He is not planning to go back for a year. Any advice?

Talking to a guy I met a while ago. Only have hung out once before to hook up. A year later he makes a reappearance. I’m taking it slow bc covid and bc I don’t want a one timer w him again. We did a couple FaceTime calls then went for a walk. He texted tonight asking to come over for wine. I jokingly asked if he was sure bc I didn’t see him for a year last time we did that. Dodged it this time, but how do you ladies hold off on sex? Not looking to have a sit down talk tho

Trying to see if MBA is worth for me - I've just accepted an account director at an agency for $140K, 6 yoe, and trying to seek for MBA in order to transition into tech marketing. I heard that it's only worth it if the salary would double, but since I'm in HCOL I would hope that won't be the case. When you were trying to gauge if MBA is worth for you, what resources help you the most?
Has anyone heard of people being negatively impacted if their team think they might be leaving? Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
