You went to a teller to get cash ?
Is this some kind of weird humblebrag post?
I find it difficult to believe that you didn't simply ask while you were at the branch, but instead chose to wait a few hours then seek some insight on FB.
I haven't thought " I need a $5 bill right now" since the Clinton administration
Maybe they want an audit...
Yes. They will measure your eligibility by net worth and growth potential. It helps if you have wire transfers a lot but otherwise it's useless.
D1 I see a teller to take out cash when I want a variety of bills (eg take out $200 with a few 20s, 10s, 5s, and 1s)
I still don't get it. A1. Why do I need an assortment of bills and why would I be $200 outside of Vegas or some other country.
They target young people with high incomes, with the hope that a) you will eventually have 250k to keep with them and b) you will transfer over your brokerage accounts and invest in their (high fee) products. Each year they evaluate whether they will allow you to remain in the program. You should do it. No downside and worst case you enjoy the perks. Just don't buy any of their products
Allows access to multiple free checking accounts, waiving of fees, safe deposit box (for your mounds of cash), and other stuff.
anyone experience the same? and why?
I'm still confused about seeing a teller for cash. Were you taking out mucho 💰? Maybe big withdrawals require extra service?
Same thing happened to me. It pops up on their screen as a targeted offer
Just an up/cross sell opportunity
I went to take out money in hundreds for Atlantic City. that's why I used the teller for cash. honestly this was a week ago, definitely not a humble brag post, just curious. it's much easier to type a post in 20 seconds versus waste 20minutes with the banker.
I think they ask everyone this - I used to get asked when I was the proud employee of Abercrombie & Fitch in high school. 😂🤣😂
