I got a remote L6 SWE offer at Google but the RSUs are too low for that level ($625k over 4 years), could not negotiate it higher. I’ve accepted the offer but trying to be hopeful that I could make it more equitable in the future if I perform well. Are stock refreshers based on the initial RSU grant or solely based on performance? Google

I hope you don't like meat.
Exit ops are strong - you'll be looking for a new job within a year
Culture of non-arms length transactions and ‘community adjusted’ financials
Step 1: Take GAAP number
Step 2: Subtract out all costs
Step 3: ???
Step 4: community adjusted ebit appears
Please do your due diligence on the role, you only get to exit from consulting “once”. layoffs are a real possibility, IPO disaster is possible, I wouldn’t touch that company w a 10 foot pole.

Or burning money?
I went to one of their annual conference events with a friend and it was... kind of weird. Just felt a bit cult-ish, and everyone was 22-26 years old. It felt like high school
But maybe that’s what you want
Not for me. I eat a lot of meat (mostly beef) for health and fitness reasons and don’t want my employer dictating what I put inside my own body
I’m curious too, have a phone screen in a few weeks.
From linkedin connections who work there seems pretty youthful. I'd definitely wait to see how this whole ipo saga works out. Not sure I'd want to jump with all the scrutiny currently happening
