So far I haven’t seen anything that is ready for prime time. Westlaw Precision gives me bad answers to research questions, and does just an OK job picking things out of document sets. Claude does a good job of drawing on outside sources to pull up more general knowledge (e.g., draft cross exam questions for a medical expert on substantive topics).
I have colleagues who have started using Harvey and Anna. They seem to like it but I don’t have specifics on it yet.

Overall it’s sort of Wild West out there.

As a general concept, it seems like AI can be valuable because of its iterative functionality. You can revise something 5 times in 30 minutes when it would take a junior associate 2 days. But you have to get in there yourself to make it right.

It can be useful to give you the term of art you need to do your own research. It can be useful to assess your own written clarity/tone. It can also be somewhat useful in creating templates from finished work product.

But I don’t trust its legal judgment. It frequently conflates different topics or pulls up irrelevant material.

But, GDPR (or other similar topics that have been written about to death) it can do a very good job.

Nuanced legal concepts it can bork, especially if they’re not widely discussed.

A fun game is to take redlines (and after anonymizing the content) ask AI Tool #1 to assess.

Then take that assessment and give it to AI Tool #2 and ask whether it agrees.

I use the one that makes stuff up. That’s my favorite.

Copilot is ok for summarizing records, depo transcripts, etc. As others have said, I haven't found a product that's quite there yet, although of course AI in the workplace is a pretty new thing.

I do have concerns about all the work product and confidential info thats being uploaded to AI...

Hi peeps, Looking for thoughts on adding a social media feed to the homepage of our B2B Tech Industry website. My thoughts are that it will help get our webinars and personality on our homepage without overly cluttering it up, but does it also navigate people away from our page? Maybe a banner ad on our homepage for the webinars is better? TYIA

I’v been in digital marketing for almost 5 years. I want to switch to marketing operations or research, because I find I’m better at and more interested in market research, audience research than keyword research or writing ad copies. I applied for some marketing research and operations roles, but no luck.

I understand I don’t have enough direct experience and platform experience, like Nielsen.

Any advice?

Hey all! I have an interview with
Deloitte in Regulatory Risk and more precisely in their Investment Management Services team. I would like to know if anyone
knows what the job entails exactly. I keep hearing about people "fooled" into taking a job in risk advisory thinking it'll really be advisory while they only end up doing IT and Audit support (which I do not want to do).
Is it the case here?
Thanks!

I am a registered sales assistant which means I have my series 7. I also have the 63 and my Life & Health license. I was a financial advisor but the role is commission only so I decided to take a role as an assistant for some time to learn etc. I really like my role, but I only make 32k a year and after taxes I only take home about 25k. I have a gut feeling that I’m not being paid market value but it’s tough to find comparable salaries. Do you think $15.38/hr is a fair wage in this case?

I'm a third year plaintiff's employment law attorney and I'm looking to move to defense, preferably still in employment law. I received an offer from a midsize firm that primarily focuses on PI with little-to-no employment law practice, so I'll have a bit of a learning curve. Offer is $90k, billable hours of 2100. Is this reasonable? I'm dead-set on leaving my current job, and this would be a $20k pay increase - which makes me believe I'm leaning towards taking it for those reasons only.
