What am I not asking for when it comes to new biz work travel?

In a situation where a big meeting out of the country is shifting dates, forcing major child care challenges (naturally over a holiday while school is closed) and forcing my partner to decrease hours and change their work schedule to accommodate AGAIN (they’d had JUST asked for a schedule shift to accommodate the original dates). Give me your ideas!

This is a recent incident happened to me, was interviewed for tcs, salary discussion happened on 12th March and was told to wait for final approval and was told that offer letter would be rolled out in 2 weeks. Hr did not negotiate on the CTC either. After waiting for a month i tried reaching HR they did not respond. After multiple emails they simply say that they cannot move forward due to high deviations. Guys is this normal in TCS that even after final CTC discussions ,candidates get rejectd.
