Please help! I have completed HR round 4-5 days back.
I see posts here that few got mails to upload documents after Tech round.
But I didn't get any mail to upload docs. HR directly called me few days back and told this is reg your salary discussion and I agreed to their offer. They told me that I will get confirmation after BGC.
1. Is my offer confirmed?
2. I didn't get any mail to upload docs? When will I get?
3. How long does it take to release offer as per your experience? Cognizant

Hey Fishes,
Can anyone give me a referral?
Thanks!
Unrelated but curious as to why you’re looking to depart!
It’s pro rated upto 1 year by the month. So if you leave at month 11 you have to pay 1/12th back
Do you know when it was changed, or if there is a policy that outlines the general terms?

1. If you are set on leaving, negotiate with the other firm to see if they can cover it
2. Call PeopleLine and ask the question. The call center team are pretty good to answer the question inconfidence
3. Would thought that they explain this during the signing of the offer?
4. The tax implications are a bit tricky since you likely received after tax amount but have to pay back full
Overall- would consider if the switch is worth the medium term career benefit. Not sure about your financial situation, but 25k is not a large amount for a better career story.
Not 100% but I tend to believe if a company has a way to get money back from someone they will. Hopefully they wouldn’t do that but I’d just plan on having to repay it if you were planning on leaving. Potentially you could see if your new employer would be willing to pay it for you

You’ll likely be required to pay back the portion associated with the balance of your 12 months. Your new employer will likely foot the bill if you bring it up as a concern to them.
How far are you from the 12 month of service?
I am within 3 months. I would be fine with paying back the pro-rated balance, but not the entire amount
I'm living in fear of my repayment... Says 100 % of pretax amount for sign on and any other incentive bonuses if your leave before 1 year of it being paid
Good info. I just called peopleline and they were unable to help, they suggested talking to my HR rep.
I do not recall the addendum being in my new hire portal (if this is the workday for recruits - This is where I pulled my offer letter from).
Wondering if I should ask Hr for this.. on one hand I’d like to know what my options are, on the other hand, I don’t want this to come back to bite me (by them flagging my sign on, requiring payback) if I end up resigning before my 1 yr.
