I learned this week that the 80+ anti-queer bills that passed around the country led all sorts of people who identify as queer in some way shape or form to migrate to other states. Fat-fobia is still rampant in and out of the workplace. The creation of drugs like wegovy will probably affect the body positive movement. Whether it will effect it for better or worse remains to be seen. But many people agree that most employers will likely move towards covering these types of drugs. However, it may create a culture of "there's a drug for that...so why don't you just take it?" Gen Z has entered the work force as well, so that's a thing.
Or the fact that 11% of hiring managers consider weight in their decision?

Another trend that I am seeing is trigger warnings surrounding discussions of DEI. Things like "some people might find this topic triggering. It may trigger feelings of homophobia/fatphobia/xenophobia/so on and so forth. If you cannot be respectful and take this seriously then please do not engage in this conversation."
