Not saying lawyers do good with it, just that lawyers excel at it. It requires a unique style of bullshit that this industry breeds en masse.

Hr, compliance, technical writing (depending on your background), policy writing, policy auditing

Depends on what kind of lawyering you do on the daily.

Used to do tort litigation for 4 years - now in-house doing real estate work.

Curious for lawyers who are doing a lot of tech equity financings too

I am in school to become a therapist. After the stuff I’ve seen (and given my personality), I think I would be well suited.

I recently took up a Customer Success Manger role at a engineering software company. Previously I was a Project Manager at the same company but wanted to move out of my engineering services role. I primarily took this role hoping to get exposure to providing SaaS services as company is transitioning at software cloud. My long term goal is to move into tech as my current customers are mostly in O&G. Is customer success a good entry point go get into one for the big tech companies?

I’m a fifth year associate who is ready to get out of litigation (and private practice altogether). I’ve only ever done professional malpractice (legal, med mal, etc) and feel like those skills will not transfer as well if I had done transactional work. Ideally I would like to transition to something in-house. Any suggestions as to what jobs/industries I could transfer into with only litigation experience?
