Anything connected with data science will serve you well. Python is a good place to start. There is a really good book called Automate the Boring Stuff with Python that I'd recommend as a start.

Besides data analytics and digital content, I would look into test automation. A lot of companies have issues in this space and are looking for tactics to bring their operating costs down

That book is really cool BA1. Bought it last year and it was interesting. However be aware that it does require knowledge of object oriented programming.

I agree , DS is hot , but if you really want to get into it , start with basics of ML , something like coursera ML for a 101. Python is quite easy if you have a little bit of programming skills

Cyber anything

Or even better cyber data science...

Cyber security, blockchain/other FinTech, Cloud/IoT/Edge Computing intersection, data science and advanced analytics, everything "Autonomics" (robotic process automation, cognitive computing, AI),

How did you all get into the DEI space professionally? I’m doing a lot of work internally at my firm and spent a lot of time in my masters program focusing on DEI and want to do DEI work full time. Looking for any guidance in making the transition from traditional consulting.

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.

Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?

I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? I’m pretty good at Salesforce and have thought about a SFDC admin type role, but that’s all I’ve thought of so far.

Hello Guys,

I am in a super good position at Jellyfish as a Director with a good room in terms of growth. Great responsibilities, work life balance and I strongly love my job. However, there is an opportunity to join Google Dublin as an Agency Development Manager (level 4) with strong salary, new challenges, different role and responsibilities etc. I HAVE A STRONG DOUBT about a trade off: is better to have a strong margin of growth and a good position or join Google with the above conditions?

Hi
I am working in Amazon from June 2020 as L3 HR Generalist. My current CTC is 5.2 LPA. I have a post graduation degree in English.
I was wondering if doing an MBA distance course from Symbiosis would help me get a better position and salary?
Can anyone please suggest? If not symbiosis then can I choose any other University for doing the MBA?

Considering a career change as a second year audit staff who is burnt out and overwhelmed in public accounting. For those who have left the big4, would you recommend moving to a smaller regional firm or going into industry?

Had a consultation with an attorney for legal advice on my options to address a late filing for a taxable event. They recommended me two options: file or not file. In order to help him with the consultation he asked to send him additional information like bank statements and work authorization which I sent.

If I decide to not file or go to another attorney if the fees are high, can the attorney still report me or whistle blow me to the tax authorities?

Really looking for a way to turn around a toxic building culture with staff to staff bullying, cliques/social isolation, hard feelings on big topics (racism, non acceptance of gender identity). Last year the staff polarized with the lead bully whom I helped leave. And the lead gossip (who was my secretary) that gained their sympathy and turned them against me. She also left. Now I need to regain trust and eliminate unacceptable teacher behaviors. Open to any and all advice.
