Following because I’m retaking. I don’t even remember I just remember some stuff I didn’t feel like was covered with Becker

like

I’m using Uworld and Surgent and I think only Surgent did an ok job preparing me. I was only doing on the side some data analytics classes, unrelated to my CPA preparation, and was lucky that some of the stuff I learned there randomly were on the ISC exam. I suppose the situation isn’t ideal but maybe do some basic SQL and data analytics classes on top of Becker.

All I can say is good luck lol. I’ve taken twice- waiting for my last result and think I failed. I use Becker and don’t feel like it prepared me. Make sure you know about back ups, SQL, Primary/foreign keys, random terms like salting, hashing, etc, private/public keys. Completely random. I had nothing related to “accounting”. General corporate in NY looking to lateral into tech transactions at one of the EC/VC firms. I’ve heard that I may get a class cut if I make the move but I’m ok with that. My worry is that EC/VC firms are crazy busy work differently from general corp, I also won’t have control over my hours, and potentially worse based on how billing differs (block billing on a few clients vs having to work with 15 or more startups). Is the same true for tech trans or IP group?

Hi all,
I work on in-house tool of my company beyond which I dint gain any technical knowledge and found myself stuck and also lost my coding skills. Almost it's nearing a year since I joined and gained nthg specific in technical side. And looking at full stack developer roles is putting me into awe...What shall I do? Should I learn such courses separately or suggest me where can I restart my career as a developer?

I am Product Owner, and have an opportunity to change my Title to "Product Manager". The actual work I'm doing will not change significantly, it's just a Title change, since I've been working less and less with the scrum teams and doing more product analysis over the last year. My main goal with this is to ensure this looks good on my CV. My thought is a Product Manager role seems more senior to a product owner. Any thoughts on this and any advice on how to approach this? I'm based in London.
